So my transition from Uneducated Mess to Primary School Teacher has hit an inevitable stumbling block: The 3-hour Examination towards my degree. So my musings and regurgitation of links has been quiet. Sorry.

After tomorrow I will be back to me old self again!

Woe-pen University

I’m currently completing my final piece of work for my current module and it’s fair to say this has been the most challenging portion of my degree so far. Not because of the work load, but simply because of the horrible subject matter of pretty much the entire module. Let me give you an example:

  • Children, Poverty and Social Inequality
  • Children’s experiences of HIV and AIDs in South Africa
  • Children and Violence

I think you can agree it’s difficult to get motivated to continue reading about such subjects. Especially when some of the course materials are like a 30 minute charity appeal for aid in which they DON’T give you a number to call. You just have to sit there and analyse how these people got into this awful situation.

Bring on the modules about ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’
